YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: The presidential elections in Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] contain remarkable nuances also from the viewpoint of the attitude of the external forces.

From this viewpoint, Past newspaper received interesting information regarding the Artsakh elections. In particular, according to our Artsakh sources, Moscow has sent a "landing force" of political technologists who are close to Kremlin, who are working these days with the [campaign] headquarters of [presidential candidate and former Security Council secretary] Vitali Balasanyan..

This information is all the more noteworthy in the sense that according to press reports, one of the [other presidential] candidates and the head of one of the [political] forces running in the parliamentary elections have problems with the Russian Federation [(RF)]; in particular, in terms of banning their entry to the RF for 5 years.

It turns out that Moscow is not indifferent, to put it mildly, in terms of the Artsakh elections, and has a particularly positive attitude towards specifically Vitali Balasanyan's candidacy.
