YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: [Ex-President] Serzh Sargsyan left for Brussels on a working visit the day before, where he met with EPP President Donald Tusk.

How did Serzh Sargsyan [who is a defendant in a criminal case] bypass the signature-restraint not to leave [the country]? We asked his [legal] defender Amram Makinyan.

"Legal regulation implies that it is impossible to leave the country without the permission of the body conducting the proceedings. Since the third president had a pre-planned working visit, we have petitioned to the body conducting the proceedings in accordance with the law to obtain permission to leave the country; we have received. ” They could not have allowed it."
