YEREVAN. – Irates daily of Armenia writes: [PM] Nikol Pashinyan is said to have been very forced to “give” [ex-President] Serzh Sargsyan permission to travel to Brussels because he, too, had a visit [to Brussels], and if he had blocked the visit of the leader of an EPP member party, he would not have been able to meet the same EPP leader Tusk, with whom Pashinyan himself wanted to meet.

It is said that with the meeting with Tusk, Pashinyan is trying to open a “place of standing” for [Armenia’s ruling] Civil Contract [party] which has no belonging to any European party, but after Serzh Sargsyan's visit, analysts find that almost impossible because Tusk is actually informed “first-hand” about the "democratic" nuances of holding a referendum for one person, "denigrating" the Venice Commission, "dragging" the country's former elite to courts.

In fact, Pashinyan's visit [to Brussels], as always, had no serious agenda (...).
