YEREVAN. – Iravunk daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: RA Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan was relieved of his post yesterday.

Our sources close to the government claim that apart from the pro-government circles working against Erik Grigoryan, the reason for his removal is largely connected with [the] Amulsar [gold mine project].

According to rumors being circulated, there is a deal between Lydian [company] and the government to sell the Amulsar project.
