YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily writes: Yesterday we learned that not only PAP [opposition Prosperous Armenia Party parliamentary faction] member [National Assembly (NA) vice president] Vahe Enfiajyan has fallen ill with the coronavirus, but also Kristine Poghosyan and Viktor Yengibaryan from [the majority] My Step [faction].
According to the NA source, there are about ten [COVID-19] infected people in the ruling faction. The MPs are afraid that the infection will be confirmed among many in the coming days.
The thing is that they, having [health] complaints, were forced to come to the NA on June 22, to ensure the 88 votes required for the constitutional amendments.
Of course, they will say that they took the [coronavirus] test after the session, but the symptoms appear earlier, the result of the test—in 12 hours. K. Poghosyan, for example, stated that she received the result on the 23rd [of June].
