YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: Yesterday morning, MPs of the NA [National Assembly] My Step [majority] faction—NA vice president Alen Simonyan, chairman Vladimir Vardanyan of the [NA Standing] Committee on State and Legal Affairs—left for Moscow on an urgent visit.
Our news was confirmed by the [other] MPs of My Step. Our parliamentary sources also said that the purpose of the visit of the Armenian MPs to Moscow is to communicate with their Russian colleagues; they want to figure out the moods and, if possible, also ask for assistance.
However, it turns out that the MPs' visit is not official, but private.
