YEREVAN. – Iravunk daily of Armenia writes: According to Iravunk’s information, the situation in the law enforcement system is tense.

The problem is that in the military record book of the participants of the 44-day war [last fall] in Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] they refuse to write that they took part in the war, and create problems also in the matter of giving a disability status to the wounded.

But it turns out that at the time they were threatening that criminal cases will be opened against those who did not go to war, and now they say that no one had the right to leave the law enforcement service and go to war. Therefore, in order to avoid problems, it is better not to mention the participation in the war in the military record book.

All this theater of the absurd could have seemed funny if the victims of the situation did not have health problems and needed to be remembered, too, as participants in the war, especially since they went neither secretly nor voluntarily, but compulsorily.
