YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: [Opposition] “Armenia” Faction MP Aram Vardevanyan [who is also a practicing lawyer] proposes criminalizing the reporting or providing of fake or false information to the inquiry committees of the National Assembly (…).

"The reason is the 44-day [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war that took place from September 27, 2020 to November 9, 2020, and the circumstance of the setting up of the [parliamentary] inquiry committee announced regarding a comprehensive study of its circumstances. (…).," it is noted in the substantiation of the draft.
