YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: It has been about a month since the parliamentary committee of inquiry investigating the circumstances of the 44-day [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war [in the fall of 2020] has started its work without the opposition (…).

According to the Past newspaper’s information, the work of the committee is rather monotonous and standard, without surprises, without commotions. (…).

Solely politicians and NGO representatives that are the satellites of the authorities take part in the work of the committee.

According to our parliamentary source, it is instructed that the recording of each sitting [of this committee] be sent immediately to [PM] Nikol Pashinyan, so that he be aware of everything. As Pashinyan does not trust even his [political] teammates, neither the minutes nor the reports [of these sessions] satisfy him.

And in general, behind the scenes, they say that one way or another, he becomes aware of all the movements taking place in every corner of the parliament, even the most insignificant ones, and that is why even the [ruling majority] CC [Civil Contract Faction] members [of parliament] show maximum caution when communicating with each other.
