YEREVAN. – Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The [opposition] "Armenia" and "With Honor" factions of the National Assembly had convened a rally at [downtown Yerevan’s] Freedom Square the previous day in defense of Armenia and Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)].

After rather sharp speeches, a statement also was adopted whereby those red lines were actually confirmed the trampling of which (…) "will inevitably lead to a legitimate popular reaction by all possible means and methods."

According to Past newspaper’s information, RA second President [and opposition “Armenia” bloc leader] Robert Kocharyan, who was not able to physically attend the rally due to the injury he sustained, expressed his satisfaction—during the telephone conversations with [his political] teammates—both in terms of the organizational work of the rally and the speeches [during it], and, in general, in terms of content, as well as from the viewpoint of the quite considerable number of participants.
