YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: According to Past newspaper’s information, the Constitution’s modified version attuned to the authorities’ palate has been sent to the Venice Commission in order to get a professional assessment, although many within the authorities believe that the opinion of that commission is not binding for us at all.

According to our source, those at that high international legal organization are not very happy and satisfied, to put it mildly, with the presented document, and the initial opinion is critical.

According to our information, the final version of the conclusion of the Venice Commission will be sent to Yerevan already in December, where the commission’s positions—which, according to preliminary information, will be quite harsh—will be presented in detail.
