YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of Armenia writes: The [Specialized] Commission for Constitutional Reforms recorded "progress" at yesterday's session. It was decided that Armenia should continue to move in the scenario of the previous [authorities]—adhering to the existing parliamentary form of government. (...).

This means that [PM] Nikol Pashinyan liked the "suit made" for [ex-President] Serzh Sargsyan by the constitutional amendments of 2015, in which he has fit comfortably. And the [Specialized] Commission for Constitutional Reforms (...) voted in favor of the longevity of that "suit."

Then they will make amendments to a few non-essential articles; say, a couple of procedural powers will be added to the president, which will mean that the [incumbent authorities’] pledge of constitutional amendments was another balloon to weaken public resistance.
