Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The consistent steps by the RA authorities toward changing the foreign political vector [of Armenia] have caused concern among the Russian authorities in recent times.

Various emissaries are being sent to Armenia, we were told us that they are trying to form a new, more viable opposition unit, which they will use against [Armenian PM] Nikol Pashinyan's power if necessary.

The Russian factor's activeness is also evidenced by yesterday's meeting of the RF [(Russian Federation)] Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, with the principals of Yerevan schools named after famous Russian people.

Sergey Kopyrkin informed the principals that the matter of opening new Russian schools in Armenia is being discussed.

A working group has already been set up that is deal with matters related to assisting in education [in Armenia] in the Russian language.
