YEREVAN. – The mobile phones, which Armenia’s Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party (RLP) had distributed to voters during the campaign season for the past parliamentary elections, have become a major “headache” for mobile phone operators, Yerkir daily writes.

“A VivaCell [Company] employee was recently complaining that ‘they are bringing in 10-15 non-functioning phones per day.’ [And] All of them informed the employee that the phones were distributed by the RLP, which ‘in fact tried to cheat us.’

[But] According to our source, the owners of the distributed cell phones were not that ‘worried.’ ‘We are [now] even. They gave me a defective phone, and I did not vote for them,’ said a conned telephone owner,” Yerkir writes.
