YEREVAN. – Armenian capital city Yerevan’s Urartu Restaurant Complex owner Ashot Yeritsyan was released around two months ago, Zhamanak daily writes.

“According to rumors, this [release] was worth 70,000 [US] dollars, and Armenia’s Deputy Police Chief Gagik Hambardzumyan was actively involved in this.

The Central and Nork Marash Administrative Regions’ General Jurisdiction Court had chosen arrest as the restraining order for Yeritsyan because he was suspected of abducting a person, whom he had deceitfully abducted from a karaoke club, put into the trunk of a car, taken toward an unknown direction, and subsequently beaten,” Zhamanak writes.
