YEREVAN. – The Armenian-Iranian economic programs, which were put on hold for a long time, have finally begun to get more active, Hayots Ashkharh daily reported.
“The ‘ice’ has begun to ‘move’ not solely in the domain of Armenian-Iranian energy cooperation, but in the energy system of Armenia.
“[But,] in recent years, problems have again emerged here, [and] which gradually grew deeper. An evidence of this is the financial difficulties that have arisen in the [country’s] energy system.
“[In addition], the level of losses in the [energy] distribution networks is much higher than the envisioned.
“If these problems are not solved, they will cause major complications in the future,” Hayots Ashkharh wrote.
