The premier welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia, and emphasized the continuous development of Armenian-Argentine relations. The PM noted with satisfaction the expression of principled positions on sensitive issues for Armenia in the Senate of Argentina, which also happens as a result of the active activities by the members of the friendship group.

"I hope that as a result of your visit, the bilateral political, economic, and cultural dialogue [between the two countries] will continue to develop and strengthen," added the Armenian premier.

The members of the Argentine parliamentary delegation, for their part, stressed the role of the Armenian community of Argentina in the closer cooperation between the two countries. Guillermo Andrada added that they will continue to actively contribute to the expansion and deepening of cooperation between the two countries in various domains.

Matters of regional importance were discussed at the meeting. In particular, they discussed the humanitarian crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh as a result of Azerbaijan's ongoing illegal blocking of the Lachin corridor, and Azerbaijan's policy of subjecting the population of Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenian ethnic cleansing.

The interlocutors considered the aggressive rhetoric of the Azerbaijani authorities and their attempts to abort the negotiation process unacceptable.

Addressing the rights and security issues of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh was underscored.
