Police have detained two suspects in the Paris region for hacking into a digital platform and using it to send bomb threats to lycées, BFMTV television channel reported on Thursday, citing police sources.

According to the report, two brothers born in 2005 and 2007 were detained this morning in the commune near Paris Malakoff as part of the hacking of a digital work platform (ENT) and the resulting terrorist threats against lycées.

As previously reported by Parisien, citing France's education ministry, 323 threats were reported in 44 departments across the country during the week. The authors of the messages claimed to be acting on behalf of the Islamic State.
