Russia has always been loyal to and guided by the allied level of relations with Armenia. Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), stated this during Wednesday’s press briefing—and when asked whether there is a chance of warming of political relations between Armenia and Russia.
"It was historic, it was a ‘two-way street.’ From our side, there were never ‘zigzags’ on that same ‘street,’ and ask the rest to Yerevan," added the official representative of the Russian MFA.
