Demonstrators gather at Democracy Square in Tel Aviv to protest against the Israeli government and call for early elections and the release of hostages held by Hamas, the Times of Israel reported.

The protest was organized by Change Generation, a movement founded after the October 7 attack that demanded the release of the hostages and a change in Israel's leadership.

Police blocked off parts of Begin and Kaplan streets to contain the demonstration, as well as nearby exits on the Ayalon motorway to prevent protesters from blocking traffic, as they often do.
