Now we can say with 100 percent that the church of Voskepar [village in Tavush Province] is located in the sovereign territory of Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during his press conference Tuesday—and regarding the ongoing border delimitation process with Azerbaijan

"There is no problem in connection with approaching the church, entering it, performing a ritual, the area of its activity," Pashinyan added.

Referring to the fact that people in the village of Kirants have property certificates, but their property is transferred to Azerbaijan, Pashinyan said as follows, in part: "We didn't deny all that. I said that in the case of 8, or even 9, of the 12 [border] points border delimitation has been carried out as of now, but there are three points in connection with which more detailed work needs to happen. The border delimitation commission has taken all the ownership certificates that are available. All foundations are being removed. It will be considered in more detail in that section."

“The delimitation in those three points of Kirants has inconveniences, but the delimitation will bring great good news for Kirants—and they know it. We have informed them, showed them, and it will become an important factor in socioeconomic terms. But I don't want to get ahead of myself," the Armenian premier added, in part.

Pashinyan spoke also about the initiative to change the constitution of Armenia at the demand of Azerbaijan.

"The matter of the constitution of Armenia is an internal matter of Armenia. The constitution of Armenia does not prevent the implementation of any foreign obligations. Furthermore, we have agreed that none of the parties to the peace treaty can make reference to the legislation of its country in order to not fulfill the obligations assumed by the given treaty. The question of the constitution has nothing to do with it," the Armenian premier stressed, in part.
