Yerevan is set to welcome the 33rd annual meeting and business forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), with Ardshinbank taking the lead as flagship sponsor. The event, a significant fixture among financial institutions, will convene high-ranking delegations from 74 countries, prominent financial and banking experts, and thought leaders of the Armenian banking sector. Scheduled for May 14-16, the forum aims to foster positive impacts and enhance financial markets for the public good.

EBRD annual meeting stands as one of the pivotal events in the global financial and economic landscape. Hosted in Armenia for the second time, this gathering encompasses a diverse array of private business meetings. At this year's event, Ardshinbank organized a discussion on economic and trade sanctions, the issues they raise, and potential solutions. Lusine Nersisyan, Member of the Management Board and Director of Risk Management at Ardshinbank, will lead the panel discussion.

Armenia joined the EBRD as a member on December 7, 1992, contributing €10 million to the bank's capital. Key areas of collaboration between Armenia and the EBRD encompass energy, transportation, and the financial sector.
