Europe Day is underway in Armenia.

The event began Friday with the opening of a photo exhibition, which was preceded by the press conference of Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, and Paruyr Hovhannisyan, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of t Armenia.

This year, the Europe Day events in Armenia will run until June 7, comprising the capital, Yerevan, and the provinces.

The head of the EU delegation to Armenia noted that the purpose of these cultural and informational events is to show the depth of relations between Armenia and the EU.

Also, the EU delegation to Armenia will hold a European film festival in Yerevan, from May 29 to June 7.
