YEREVAN.- The armed clashes in Aleppo take place far from the Armenian districts, resident of Damascus Nazareth Elmadjian told Armenian News-NEWS.am on phone.

According to representative of the Armenian community, the clashes occur in several suburbs of Aleppo, population of which is known for fundamental views.

Elmadjian confirmed the situation in the capital has been almost fully normalized. Shops and offices are functioning in Damascus, he said.

Fierce clashes between the forces of special services and armed rebels broke out in several districts of Aleppo, Syrian SANA agency reported.
