YEREVAN. – Armenian delegation to Euronest PA summed up their visit to Brussels on May 27-29 for the regular session of Euronest PA.  

Head of the delegation Artak Zakaryan, delegates Karine Achemyan, Hrant Bagratyan, Elinar Vardanyan and Naira Zohrabyan presented the results during the Monday press conference.

Armenian delegates participated in the debates on four reports and during the discussion representatives of Azerbaijan, Georgia and other states presented proposals contradicting Armenia’s interests. According to the reached agreement, they withdrew the offers.

MP Naira Zohrabyan noted that Azerbaijan uses every opportunity to try to push for foreign policy interests. In her turn, Elinar Vardanyan added that Azerbaijani delegates tried to make their interests coincide with each issue on the agenda even if it had no relation to the territories and the conflict.

Head of the delegation said the next session of the Euronest PA will be held in Yerevan next fall.
