YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus is holding the 11th international jamboree-contest of young firefighter-rescuers.  

The event is held from Monday to July 26 in the “Rescuer” Camp of Belarus, and the youth firefighter-rescuers’ team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia likewise is participating, the ministry news service informs.  

The main objective of the jamboree is to help the youth acquire skills in working under emergency situations and to promote collaboration among the young rescuers from a variety of countries.           

The teams will take part in competitions and represent their respective countries and emergency response agencies. 

Young rescue squads from fifteen countries are taking in this year’s event.
