ALEPPO. – Vardan Ghazanchian, a Syrian-Armenian man who was kidnapped on the way from Beirut to Aleppo, was set free.

The information was kept secret not to damage the negotiations on releasing the hostage,the National Primacy of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church told Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

This is not the first case of kidnapping Armenians since the start of Syrian crisis.
