RTL-TVI television of Belgium decided to find out the position, with regard to the Armenian Genocide, of several Turkish MPs of the country’s centralist party.

The RTL-TVI reporters visited the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region to ask respective questions to MP Mahinur Ozdemir, reported La Libre newspaper of Belgium.

Ozdemir, however, looked at the camera several times and quickly fled the hall.

In her subsequent press release to the TV journalists, the Turkish MP explained her action by stating that her doctor had advised her to rest more.

But on the same evening, the MP attended a community council meeting. RTL-TVI tried to ask Mahinur Ozdemir questions again, but to no avail. She saw the TV cameras and quickly “disappeared.”
