Armenian militaries are taking part as observers in NATO’s military trainings “Agile Spirit” held in Georgia.
According to the Chief of General Staff of Georgian Armed Forces Vakhtang Kapanadze, it’s the first time the military trainings “Agile Spirits” have been held in Georgia.
The opening ceremony of the trainings took place at the Vaziani military base on July 8. The trainings will last till July 22. “US marines, as well as Romanian and Bulgarian subunits are now taking part in the trainings. Militaries from Baltic states, Moldova and Armenia are present in the headquarters both as officers and observers,” Kapanadze said, Sputnik Georgia reports.
