YEREVAN. – The National Assembly of Armenia on Friday ratified—by a vote of 103 for, none against, and 2 abstentions—the agreement on strengthening cooperation with Russia in the domain of nuclear safety.

The said document was signed on December 2, 2013, during Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Armenia.

Pursuant to this agreement, Russia will assist Armenia in improving its nuclear safety infrastructure.
