YEREVAN. - The level of corruption is high in Armenia, and measures should be taken to reduce it to minimum, Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan told journalists Saturday.

“Corruption exists in all the countries of the world, even the most democratic ones. The thing is that there are different levels of corruption. The corruption level in Armenia is rather high and steps should be taken to reduce it to minimum,”he noted.

According to Abrahamyan, the fight against corruption has always been in place in Armenia, but it has become more active now.
