Turkish security forces were seriously concerned that Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan took Turkish, Afghan and Pakistani Presidents to the mosque to utter a namaz.

The security forces and the Presidents’ bodyguard held their breath while following the developments of events, Turkish Aksam website reports.

The agents of Turkish security services said safety regulations were roughly violated when 4 leaders were seated in a car.

“It is known Ergenekon planned an assassination attempt on the Turkish Premier and Afghan and Pakistani Presidents are included in the list of those condemned to death by Al Qaeda. A non-professional was driving the car, who would not have been able to take necessary security measures in case of a terrorist attack,” they said.

As NEWS.am reported previously, Presidents of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey held the fifth trilateral summit, following the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) in Istanbul.

After the summit, the Presidents accompanied by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan went to a mosque to utter namaz.

Erdogan drove the car, President Abdullah Gul took the front seat, whereas the other two Presidents sat in the back seat. On the way back to the hotel, Gul drove the car.
