At the moment there are no prerequisites for Karabkah conflict resolution, NKR former Foreign Minister Armen Melikyan told a press conference on Friday.

According to him, “basic principles” proposed by the OSCE Minsk Group are unacceptable and impracticable. Referring to the French Co-Chair Bernard Fassier’s statement in Baku that the co-chairs intend to reach an agreement on basic principles of Karabkah conflict resolution during their tour to the region, Melikyan said: “The OSCE Minks Group Co-Chairs have repeatedly been saying this for six years. However, it is time for OSCE Co-Chairs to give new impetus to their statements and actions, respect their political logics and make an appraisal of the situation,” he noted.

As for the propaganda war, NKR former minister said unlike Azerbaijan, propaganda has not become a part of Armenia’s policy. For this reason, the efforts of the Armenian side are not crowned with success. According to him, both Armenia and Karabakh fail to pursue comprehensive coherent policy.
