A gay rights protection group conducted research to reveal which European states are tolerant to gays to mark International Day against Homophobia.

ILGA-Europe published a map with countries which are the most and least gay friendly.

The least gay friendly state in EU is Cyprus.  Other countries in the red zone are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Russia and Turkey. The most tolerant countries are Spain, Sweden and UK, Euromag reports.
