Jaguar Land Rover has introduced its updated Defender SUV. The main changes were made in its engine, and now it has new options, reports AutoExpress.

The main change in the new SUV is the powertrain. A new diesel engine, the D350, has been added to the line-up of Defender engines. It puts out 345 horsepower, 49 horsepower more than the D300. And the torque has increased to 700 Nm, according to Autonews.

In addition, as per JLR, the 2024 Land Rover Defender has improved comfort thanks to the new Signature Interior Pack, which includes heating, cooling, and memory functions for the front seats, as well as new head restraints. And the Defender 130 SUV with Captain's Chairs Pack has two individual captain's chairs in the second row.

The Land Rover Defender is now available also in a new special version, the Sedona Edition. It features original Sedona Red exterior paint, a black grille and skid plate, 22-inch wheels, and a hood scoop.

Pricing for this SUV is not yet known. But the Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE version, on which the Sedona Edition is based, costs £83,860.
