Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in part: Today, May 15, is the deadline for the [border] delimitation of [Armenia’s] Tavush [Province]. According to the arrangement, the Armenian-Azerbaijani parties must sign the [border] delimitation-demarcation protocol by May 15.

The [border] delimitation process in Tavush was frozen last week, when a decision was made to move the movement [against this process] to Yerevan; it has resumed these days. The authorities took a step back temporarily, hoping to stop the movement. Border posts were placed only in the field parts of Kirants [village], while [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan had said, during the meeting with the Kirants residents, that the village will be divided, the bridge will pass to the Azerbaijanis.

We were told from Kirants that there are 3 [border] posts left to install. Today it will become clear what the [Armenian] authorities have decided: are they signing the protocol without dividing the village? Or will they place the posts in the middle of the village, starting from the bridge, dividing the village?
