YEREVAN. – The delegation headed by the Lithuanian FM Audronius Ažubalis, being in Armenia on an official visit, visited on Thursday the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex and paid tribute to the Armenian Genocide victims.
The Lithuanian FM was accompanied by the Armenian Deputy FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and the Deputy Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Suren Manukyan, the latter introduced the history of the Genocide.
Besides, Ažubalis planted a fir tree in the Memory Alley.
In 2005 the Lithuanian Seim recognized and condemned the 1915 Armenian Genocide perpetrated in Turkey in.
