YEREVAN. – Off-parliament opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) held consultations on MP candidates on majoritarian and proportional systems and on the representatives of the central headquarters and regional agencies. It was conducted by the Armenian First President, ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan.

Ter-Petrosyan presented the domestic political situation ahead to the elections and touched upon the issues on advocacy, ANC informs.

The main topic for discussion included the strategy of the upcoming elections and proper organization, as well as effective fight against electoral falsifications by the authorities.

Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008 after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18 parties and political forces.

ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
