20 wealthiest people lose $9 billion in one week

During just one week 20 of the wealthiest people in the world lost $9.1 billion. The reason is the falling of world markets which is connected with the deepening of the crisis in the EU.

As Gazeta.RU referring to Bloomberg, the losses concern Mexican Carlos Slim (he lost $1.5 billion in one week and now holds $69.2 billion), the Founder of Microsoft Bill Gates (lost $558 million, now holds 63.2 billion), the chairman of H&M Stefan Persson (lost $1.4 billion and holds $23.2 billion), Spaniard Amancio Ortega (lost $1.2 billion and holds $39.4 billion).
