Armenia has 12 fields having have export potential benefits in terms of producers, facilities involved, the existing investors and managers, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said in an interview with Russia’s Gazeta.ru.
“Among them is instrument engineering, production of brandy and wine, pharmaceuticals (where we have four major projects), precious stones and jewelry industry, watch industry,” he said.
The main markets are Europe and CIS states, Premier said adding that Armenia is also trying to establish a brandy distribution network in China.
“This is a very promising market for us, but the project should be worked out. We have reached an agreement with private sector to make joint efforts to create necessary distribution infrastructure,” Armenian PM said.
