STEPANAKERT. – OSCE mission agreed with the Nagorno-Karabakh authorities to hold monitoring in the line of the contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan on April 12 in Askeran direction.

The monitoring will be held from the Karabakh side by field assistants of Personal Representative of OSCE Chairman-in-Office Antal Herdic and Irji Aberle as well as representative of OSCE High-Level Planning Group (HLPG) Andrey Barashkin.

Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Peter Kee, field assistant Hristo Hristov and HLPG representative Ilham Deirmenoglu will hold the monitoring from the Azerbaijani side.

The Karabakh authorities expressed readiness to support the monitoring and ensure security for the OSCE mission members. The Karabakh MFA and MOD representatives will accompany the monitoring group.
