Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan went to Armenia’s Armavir region on a working visit and got acquainted with the works of the newly opened greenhouse in Sardarapat Village HOMGRIN Paradise.

The construction works of the greenhouse were completed in March, 2012. It is expected to receive the first harvest from the greenhouse in the end of April.

The sales market will also include Russia’s capital and other Russian districts.

In Armavir region Serzh Sargsyan also got acquainted with the irrigation infrastructure rehabilitation project. The president was also told that the project will be completed at the end of this year.

The president also visited Armavir’s Regional Library where he got acquainted with the restoration works which were financed by the state budget. The president was informed that with the support of Eurasia Foundation the library was also equipped with new devices and acquired new books.

In the library President Sargsyan participated in the ceremony dedicated to the 1650th anniversary of Mesrop Mashtots, the founder of the Armenian alphabet.
