YEREVAN. – The direction of the Marxist Party of Armenia’s main attack will be the 2013 presidential elections, the Party leader Davit Hakobyan stated during a press conference on Thursday, and added he will enter the presidential “marathon” this November. 

In Hakobyan’s words, this is why he does not give much importance to the country’s forthcoming National Assembly (NA) elections, especially since he believes this NA cannot last longer than one year.     

As per the Marxist Party leader, the new president will bring along new NA elections, with a new entourage.

“Hence, I believe this will be an interim NA. The direction of our main attack is the [presidential] ‘throne,’” Davit Hakobyan noted.
