580 cubic meters of timber was exported from Armenia in 2011, states the publication of Armenia’s State Revenue Committee.
The profit from the export of timber products totaled to $300 thousand.
To note, the Armenian Monitoring Bodies responsible for Armenian forests many times excluded the possibility of deforestation for industrial or commercial purposes.
The export of timber products has a periodical character.
