YEREVAN. – Armenian opposition Heritage party is not representative enough to demand, Aravot newspaper quotes ruling coalition member Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader Gagik Tsarukyan.  Tsarukyan’s comments came after Heritage demanded that the leaders of all parties supporting the establishment of joint headquarter to control election processes signe the memorandum.

Heritage deputy head Ruben Hakobyan had stated during the recent meeting of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), Heritage and ARF Dashnaktsutyun parties, as well as the PAP, that Heritage will call its signature back, if the leaders of all the four parties will not sign the memo, previously signed by parties’ representatives, which supported the idea of a joint headquarter

Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is a political power included in the ruling coalition.

Founded by Armenian biggest businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, the party debuted in 2007 Armenian parliamentary elections, winning 29 seats in 131-seat Armenia’s National Assembly.

The proportional list of the party includes 165 names. PAP has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system. Prosperous Armenia Party’s election campaign slogan is: “Believe, trust, demand!”
