GYUMRI. – Harutyun Sargsyan, 29, Ashotsk village resident of Armenia’s Shirak Region, was arrested on the Gyumri murder case, police informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A criminal case is instigated, an investigation is in progress.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has earlier informed that the Chief of Shirak region’s police department Karen Babakekhyan said that the murder definitely does not have political background. Jealousy is one of the versions of the murder of the fiancé of Gyumri Mayor Vardan Ghukasyan’s daughter.
