YEREVAN. – State agencies, public and business organizations, as well as healthcare, educational and cultural institutions and lots of citizens have responded to the call of the Yerevan Mayor to participate in the tree-planting event on Saturday.

Mayor Taron Margaryan with the representatives of diplomatic missions participated in the tree-planting event in the Victory Park, the municipality reports.

Over 7,500 decorative trees and 1,000 bushes were planted in Yerevan on Saturday. In general, over 70,000 trees and bushes will be planted in the capital city.
