YEREVAN.- The opening of Armenian-Belarus trade house in Minsk is being discussed, Belarus FM said in Yerevan.

“We hope that production and bottling of Armenian brandy will start in Belarus soon,” Sergei Martynov said at a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian.

The sides are holding talks to set up an assembly line for tractors in Armenia, Martynov added.

He stressed that the sides are interested to expand economic cooperation seeking for new ways lying beyond trade and promote industrial cooperation.

Sergei Martynov also spoke about cooperation in the field of agriculture. He noted that despite unfavorable weather conditions, Belarus has achieved success in this field.

“We are starting work on using leasing schemes to supply agriculture and other equipment to Armenia. Our main leasing organization Promagrileasing has already opened its representation here,” the Minister said.

The countries are also developing cooperation in the field of information technologies and healthcare.
