The EU is preparing a new package of sanctions against Syria, EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton informed. It is the 13th package of sanctions imposed against Syria.
Earlier EU adopted an embargo on supplies of weapons and equipment to law enforcer agents, purchase of the Syrian oil, investment in oil sector, as well as restrictive measures for the banking and financial sector.
