YEREVAN. – The students of Yerevan State Linguistic University (YSLU) after Valery Bryusov intend to boycott classes as a sign of protest against the dismissal of YSLU’s Principal Suren Zolyan. On Wednesday the students held a protest action in front of Armenia’s Ministry of Education and Science. During the protest action several hundred students chanted their firm decision to enter the university only if led by Suren Zolyan.
The students put forward a condition, they will only stop the boycott if Armenia’s Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan appears in front of them and listens to them.
To note, on the order of Armenia’s Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan the Principal of Yerevan State Linguistic University after Valery Bryusov Suren Zloyan was dismissed from his post.
